More Info About The Summerland 2015 Tour
All of the bands that play Summerland are hand-picked by Everclear’s Art Alexakis, who chooses artists that have been around since the 1990s, but still have something to say. Bands joining Everclear on the tour for 2015 include Toadies, Fuel, and American Hi-Fi. Toadies last released new music in 2012 with Play.Rock.Music, and recently re-released their 1995 debut album, Rubberneck, for its twentieth anniversary. Fuel released their first album since 2007, Puppet Strings, in March 2014, marking the first time original singer Brett Scallions has recorded with the band since 2003. American Hi-Fi released their fourth album, Blood & Lemonade, in September 2014. Everclear will release their ninth studio album, Black is the New Black, on April 28, just in time for the tour. The band had already been promoting the album with a PledgeMusic campaign for several months. The album’s first single, “The Man Who Broke His Own Heart,” is available now.
