The film follows ex-con Zequi as he tries to win back the affections of his ex-girlfriend Lucy from her new boyfriend. Meanwhile, the school finds itself in deep trouble as the gang heads to the water to compete in the tournament of their lives. Zequi must now pull out all the stops to wrangle in the rowdy students, win back Lucy and save the school from shutting down. The film performed strongly at the box-office and is the third-ever highest-grossing film in the Mexican film industry with a gross of $325.4 million pesos (USD $26 million. It was first released in the United States on 15 March 2019 through Pantelion Films, and later in Mexico on 12 April 2019.
