Rich Sommer, Vincent Kartheiser, Elisabeth Moss and Jon Hamm in the midseason finale of "Mad Men." (Jaime Trueblood/AMC)
Here is your weekly wrap up of everything that went down this past week. It was chock full of big movie premieres, weddings and actual fist fights happening in Fatburger! Let’s talk it out.
Film
X-Men: Days of Future Past opened over the weekend with the franchise’s biggest box office draw to date. Its studio, Twentieth Century Fox, has had a few stellar months with Rio 2 and The Other Woman both being box office hits. X-Men has brought in $111 million domestically over the four-day weekend and should pass $300 million worldwide. Bumping Godzilla down to the No. 2 slot, X-Men soared.
TV
“Mad Men” had its midseason finale Sunday night, with the series’ remaining episodes slated for spring of 2015. AMC decided to make this decision when they had Emmy success splitting up the final season of “Breaking Bad” into two parts. SPOILER alert: The “Mad Men” episode ended with a death and a surprising twist as to the future of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. These past seven episodes have been some of the show’s best. Losing steam the past few seasons, they brought back some of that original charm and momentum that fans initially fell in love with.

Kimye Wedding – I really tried not to give this much attention or coverage, but I have to state the obvious. Just get it out of the way and move on, hoping that the world will, too. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially married. After having a pre-wedding celebration in Paris, where all their friends and family flew in, they had the actual wedding at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. The 33-year-old Kardashian is no stranger to marriage, being that this is her third. However it is 36-year-old West’s first. Wishing the newlyweds the best as they celebrate their honeymoon in Ireland.
Fatburger Fight – T.I. and Tiny of the reality show “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” are no longer in marital bliss. Their show, which focuses on family life outside of their careers is all about how they make things work. Lately, rumors have been flying that T.I. has not been the doting and loving husband the show portrays him to be, and is allegedly straying. Tiny (Yes, I said Tiny.) has been spending quality time with her “friend,” boxing champ Floyd Mayweather. Well, word got back to T.I., and they had a run in at a Fatburger in Las Vegas where T.I. approached Mayweather and took a swing. No one was seriously injured, except maybe a few egos.
Until next week, stay tuned!
