Krampus terrorizes Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios starting Sept. 16.
While everyone knows that horror fans’ favorite day of the year is Oct. 31, most of the scare addicts in my life are just as enamored of events that fuse Halloween together with another beloved holiday: Christmas. Universal Studios definitely took this into consideration when deciding to add a Krampus maze to the Halloween Horror Nights season at both their Orlando and Hollywood parks.
Beginning Sept. 16, the fabled half-goat, half-demon that is said to unleash evil upon any holiday naysayers is going to be set loose within a brand-new maze based on Michael Dougherty’s film from last year. Expect the attraction to include scenes from the movie, as the dark shadow of Saint Nicholas emerges within the dysfunctional Engel family’s home with his Dark Elves and sinister Gingerbread Men in tow.
I’m getting the chills just thinking about it! Check out the video below for a taste of Krampus the maze set for Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights this year.
