Are you ready for artisanal Italian? Tanzy Restaurant will be opening in Westwood today with Executive Chef Bryan Podgorski. Podgorski, who had prior post at French Laundry as Chef de Cuisine of Bouchon Bistro Las Vegas will take the helm at the swanky new restaurant conceived by the Florida based iPic Entertainment.

Expect fresh ingredients and a light approach to Italian dishes. Podgorski has created an Italian menu for lunch and dinner with an artisanal focus and an emphasis on locally sourced vegetables, seafood, and produce. Cured meats and pickled vegetables, assorted cheese, house made pastas, starters, will be offered for both lunch and dinner.

One of the featured dishes is the Grilled Spanish Octopus with warm potato salad, celery branch, lemon and parsley emulsion. Another dish is the Braised Beef Short Rib with toasted pearl barley, wilted collard greens, pickled heirloom carrots, and natural jus; and Wild White Seabass Panzanella with Tokyo turnips, shaved red onion, wilted spinach, salsify, and brown butter vinaigrette.

After enjoying any of those signature dishes, guests can explore their craving for sweets with Panna Cotta with Harry’s Berries strawberries, and amaretti crumble and Torta Di Cioccolato with dark chocolate cream, salted caramel, and banana gelato.

Award winning mixologist Adam Seger will be serving up meticulously selected wines and delicately hand crafted cocktails that are sure to be savory to the last drop.

Tanzy is sure to be a fantastic place to dine with it’s fine aesthetic choices that allow for intimate conversations or group gatherings all within the same space. The restaurant has been designed to invoke different vibes dependent on the area that you choose to dine. Tanzy is located at 10840 Wilshire Blvd. in Westwood, and will be open for lunch and dinner daily with weekend brunch to be added.
