"The Wrong Man" begins on January 25th at the Skylight Theatre.
Skylight Theatre Company will present the world premiere of “The Wrong Man” – a musical written and performed by Ross Golan.
The show also features Jennifer Brasuell, and is directed and choreographed by Lee Martino.
“The Wrong Man” is a tale of what happens when a man “meets the wrong girl in the wrong place at the wrong time.” After being framed for murder, the play explores his deteriorating life and deplorable circumstances of a flawed judicial system as he awaits execution.
Golan is a multi-platinum selling songwriter from Chicago. He’s worked with such artists as Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green, Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber, Keith Urban, Maroon 5, Demi Lovato, Icona Pop, Big Sean, and Travis Barker, among many others.
Martino is a celebrated director and choreographer and winner of 4 Ovation awards, 3 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards, and the Joel Hirschhorn Award for outstanding achievement in musical theatre. She has directed and/or choreographed such productions as “When You Wish: The Story of Walt Disney,” “American Misfits,” “Oklahoma!,” “Nuttin’ But Hutton,” “Hello My Baby,” “Life Without Makeup,” “Kiss Me, Kate!,” “Falling for Eve” and many others.
Previews of “The Wrong Man” begin on January 25th at 8 p.m. and run on Friday and Saturday through February 7th. Opening night is on February 8th, and the play will run through March 2nd.
