After successful shows outside of North America, Panteón Rococó today announced the dates of their upcoming U.S. tour, “Ni Carne Ni Pescado.”

The tour will be the official introduction of their most recent album, Ni Carne Ni Pescado, which was released in U.S. last December. They kick off the tour on August 2 in San Diego, and will end it on the East coast with a show in New York.

And, of course, they’ll have two Los Angeles-based shows: Aug. 3 at the Skanking Reggae FEST in L.A. and Aug. 4 at The Observatory in Anaheim. The tour will also make stops in San Francisco, Sacramento, Salta Lake City, Chicago and Washington D.C.

With over 25 million combined hits of their official YouTube videos and other few millions of the unofficial videos, Panteón Rococó is an emblematic group that represents more than one generation. The group is constantly growing and has been together for 17 years. It consists of 18 musicians who have known each other and shared experiences since junior college.

To no surprise, Panteón Rococó is undoubtedly one of the most renowned and internationally acclaimed Mexican groups. Their 14 world tours that have taken them to the most prestigious festivals in Europe and Latin America where they played in over 30 countries and shared the stage with great names, among others REM, Seeed, Marilyn Manson, Pixies, Manu Chao, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sex Pistols, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead and Foo Fighters, make for a worthwhile story to be told.
