Maluma and Shakira collaborate on new single “Chantaje.”

Global music superstar Shakira has just released her new single, “Chantaje,” a collaboration with fellow Colombian artist Maluma. The song – written and produced by Shakira and Maluma with Kevin Jimenez, Chan “El Genio” and Kenai – is Shakira’s first official Spanish-language single since the release of “La La La” off her self-titled 2014 album.

The multi-platinum, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter most recently collaborated with Carlos Vives on “La Bicicleta,” which reached No. 1 on the U.S. Latin charts and remains a global hit. Shakira us currency back in the studio recording new music for an upcoming album.

A video for “Chantaje” was filmed in Barcelona with director Juame De La Iguana, so be on the lookout for its release soon. In the meantime, you can purchase the single at iTunes.
