The Barker Hangar hosts some of the most exclusive and lavish events in Southern California. Located in Santa Monica, this amazing and unique space allows any event planner’s mind to run wild. This premiere venue hosted one of this weekend’s most exciting events with LA’s Best.

LA’s Best presented a wonderful evening of wine and bites at the 8th annual UnWINEd event. The evening was all for a great cause, raising money for children. The group set a goal of $150,000.00 for this special evening. The event was presented by Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, and was created by a group of young professionals that treat social good and their social life with the same energy.

Many of LA’s premiere restaurants and wineries participated in the evening. There were various booths offering everything from cupcakes to coconut water to delicious samplings of food.

The highlight of the evening was Christina Milian hosting the event. Ms. Milian, a pop singer, actress and businesswoman, donated wine from her Viva Diva Wine line to the charity. The line is both delicious and competitively priced.

“I love wine so that’s what brought me into wine. We have a Viva Diva Strawberry Moscato, which is delicious. Our pineapple coconut is one of my favorites. This is a great opportunity to do something I am passionate about,” says Milian. She went on to say “We are at places like Walmart now. This is a great way to pass on my lifestyle to my fans. I am all about a good price point, too.”

Guests were treated to wine soaked fruit at the Viva Diva booth at UnWINEd LA. The line grew exponentially when Ms. Milian showed up with her crew from E! Entertainment television. Her reality show is slated to premiere in the spring of 2015.

Attendees also rocked the night away with Zak Waters. His acoustic set brought the crowd to its knees. Mr. Waters is a man of many talents including a musician, producer and DJ but most importantly he is charitable.

The evening was one for the books. The attendees were treated to wonderful entertainment and a palette-pleasing plethora of bites and all for a great cause.
