Reasons to Own Hail, Caesar! on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD

The DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD of  the Coen brothers’ most recent feature, Hail, Caesar!, hits stores this week.

Centering around the disappearance of a beloved star (George Clooney) during the Golden Age of Hollywood, the writer/directors bring us another off-kilter comedy to add to our film collection. If you haven’t yet seen this film, here are some reasons why it’s a must buy!

All-Star Cast – The film features Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and Channing Tatum. The ensemble shines in this madcap gem about a studio fixer who is given a plethora of dramatic problems to solve.

Young Han Solo – If you don’t know who Alden Ehrenreich is yet, you soon will. The young actor makes a scene stealing appearance in Hail, Caesar! as a cowboy actor. Reports have surfaced that Ehrenreich has landed the coveted role of Han Solo in the Star Wars standalone film that will center on the early days of the smuggler. His scene in this film is our first look at our new scruffy looking nerf herder.

More Coen Bros. – For old and new fans of the Coen brothers, Hail Caesar! is a celebration of classic cinema. It harkens to their comedic sensibilities for fans who love their work in such films like The Big Lebowski and Burn After Reading.

Special Features – While the film is a lush parody of 1950s cinema, it’s rooted in deep love for that time. The film’s special features take at-home audiences on a trip behind the scenes to see the Coens dive into the wealth of Hollywood heyday history. With features such as Directing Hollywood, the Stars Align, An Era of Glamour and Magic of a Bygone Era, you can take a look at the making of a movie about the making of classic movies.

Hail, Caesar! is now in stores.
