Quinceañera Miss Cover Girl 2015 took place on Sunday, March 29th at the Whittier Center Theater in Whittier, Calif., where Eileen Barron and Jacqueline Garcia were crowned as winners.
The event was sponsored by Quinceañeras Magazine, in conjunction with the Disney Enchanted Prom Collection (via Ashdon, Inc.), which recently launched a new line of prom dresses inspired by the Cinderella film.
The event has been a mainstay in Los Angeles, where young aspiring beauty queens can take their first steps. Thirteen young ladies ages 14-16 gathered for the event, and judges scored them in 3 categories: Casual, Fashion, and Evening Gown. For the Evening Gown segment, the contestants all dawned dresses from Disney’s new Cinderella-inspired collection.

The evening was hosted by actor Dan Lopecci and Miss Cover girl 2014, Samantha Marquez. As is typical in beauty pageants, contestants had to demonstrate their modeling prowess as well as their physique, in addition to being subjected to various questions akin to professional-level pageants. There were 6 finalists, out of which Barron won Miss Cover Girl September 2015 and Miss Photogenic, while Garcia won for Miss Cover Girl April 2015 and Miss Popular.
The contestants’ parents are involved in each step of the way, as well as professionals in the industry, thus providing a very safe and stimulating environment for Hispanic young ladies to begin pursuing their modeling and pageantry dreams.
The new line of prom dresses launched by the Enchanted Prom Collection includes an exact replica off the gown worn by Cinderella in the recently-released film. The collection also includes a phenomenal variety of styles, textiles, and intricate embroidery.
The Cinderella replica dress is available on www.promgirl.com and www.simplydresses.com for $495.00 USD.
The rest of the collection will be on sale in stores nationwide and Canada, and will range from $350 to $800.
