Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is organizing a special event taking place in Los Angeles to support the Blu-ray release of the critically-acclaimed thriller, Promising Young Woman becoming available on Tuesday, March 16th.
In the film, Carey Mulligan plays Cassie, a brilliant but twisted character who sets out on a mission of vengeance for her best friend Nina. When Cassie’s not teaching men a bitter lesson about consent at night, her day job is as a barista at a female-owned coffee shop.
With that said, UPHE has partnered with four trendy and female-owned coffee shops including The Palm Coffee Bar, Lavender & Honey Espresso Bar, The Assembly Cafe and Romancing The Bean to host mini-takeovers on the day of the release to honor Cassie’s story.
Each coffee shop will be decorating its store with Promising Young Woman coffee essentials including coffee cups, beverage wraps, stickers, napkins, and sugar packets. Additionally, the shops will be coming out with exclusive drinks on the day of the event for customers to try and sharing the fun on their social media platforms.
