With no surprise whatsoever (and I truly mean that in a positive way), acclaimed electronic dance music DJ Paul van Dyk returned in 2014 to the singles realm.
The acclaimed German act released contagious tracks in the likes of “Come With Me (We Are One),” a collaboration between the electronic music overlord and Turkish/Dutch wonderkind Ummet Ozcan, “Only In A Dream” with Jessus & Ahdam Ashraf featuring Tricia McTeague, and “Guardian” with Aly & Fila featuring Sue McLaren.
If you have a listen to each piece, you’ll find yourself wanting to hear more and more of each. They’re all catchy and what the EDM is turning out to be of late; each song represents where this genre’s headed.
During the end of 2014 and start of 2015, the original mix of “Guardian” excelled in popularity and roared atop of the charts. But now the track has been remixed for Guardian (The Remixes), a four-track EP that will be made available on February 10 on Ultra Music.

And now Paul van Dyk is returning to the U.S. for a much-awaited tour that starts tonight in San Francisco.
Other stops this month include Seattle, San Antonio, Dallas, New York, San Diego and Los Angeles. He’s also scheduled to perform in March at Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Paul van Dyk’s L.A. show is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 20 at Exchange L.A. Tickets start at $25.
