For those who haven’t had a chance to watch Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in theaters, Universal has just announced the official DVD, Blue-ray and Digital release date.
The film will be available on Digital starting Sept. 4 and on 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD on Sept. 19.
The newest installment of the insanely popular franchise has already generated $1 billion at the worldwide box office.
With an all-star line up including the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, original cast members Jeff Goldblum and BD Wong reprise their iconic roles.
The film is directed by J.A. Bayona and executive-produced by Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow and takes place three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park.
Owen (Pratt) and Claire (Howard) return to Isla Nublar to rescue any remaining dinosaurs from a catastrophic volcano and the threat of extinction once again.
Chaos arises as soon as the lava begins to flow and new breeds of dinosaurs are discovered.
Fans of the franchise will have access to exclusive content and bonus features.
The 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Digital release will feature various segments including The Kingdom Evolves, in which filmmakers discuss the newest film.
Return to Hawaii, Island Action, Aboard the Arcadia and more will give audiences a look at the cast and crew.
Viewers will also go behind the scenes with Pratt and Howard and will get an inside look at the genetically designed Indoraptor.
From cast journals to candid interviews, music, in depth look at creatures and more, the additional content is over an hour long.
There is also a special Jurassic Then and Now segment which features key moments from the Jurassic saga.
