Don’t miss Snoop Dogg at Calabash 2016 at Staples Center this Sunday.
Kicking 2016 off with a bang is the popular Latin station Mega 96.3 FM with their annual Calibash concert. Hosted by Mega 96.3 (formerly known as Latino 96.3) La Musica and produced by AEG Live and Latin Events, the show is set to take place at none other than the ever-so-famous Staples Center on Jan. 24.
While the station is aimed more towards Latinos, it does cater to various genres. Featuring some of the most popular artists in the urban, hip hop, pop, tropical and R&B scene, this event is sure to be a highlight of the new year.
With Snoop Dogg as the headlining act, you’re guaranteed a good time. A very good time.
Whether you’re a longtime fan who has been around since his 1993 debut album, Doggystyle, or if you simply know the hook to “Gin and Juice,” brace yourself.
While that’s exciting enough, other featured acts include Prince Royce, who collaborated on the song “Stuck on a Feeling” with Snoop. The Bronx native has also worked with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull.
J Balvin, Becky G, Nicky Jam, Farruko, Yandel, Alex Sensation, Henry Santos, J Alvarez, Lil Jon, J Quiles, Plan B and Zion y Lennox are among some of the other acts set to appear.
Although Calibash 2016 is certainly a lot of fun, it also acts as an important gathering in which the younger generation of Latinos are able to come together for one night to enjoy not only their culture, but also others’.
Tickets are still available at axs.com and range from $35-$175.50.
The show is set to begin Sunday, Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. Calibash is also powered by Jack Daniels, Toyota and Bud Light. If you’re interested in getting more info, visit mega963fm.lamusica.com.
