Ladies and gents, come one, come all! The baddest and wildest way to spend a Saturday night is coming back to Los Angeles on July 26 at Club Nokia in Downtown.

Lucent Dossier Experience is the music-filled, acrobatic-showing-off, costume-infused party on stage that is a feast for your eyes and ears. This troupe has headlined Coachella and Lightning in a Bottle, but this time they are the ones running the show. This is their first headlining tour, so be ready for some stuff you’ve never seen before.

So, what is it exactly? This tour is in support of their album, Light of the World. There is going to be electronic music, supported by beautiful voices, aerialists swinging from the top of the stage and amazing costumes that are both sexy and fashion forward. It’s an overload of the senses and happening on one night only – very rare that this show comes through a venue like this. It’s been years since I’ve seen them, and back then I was blown away.

The style of music on Light of the World is more eastern with lots of emotion. Not to say that their musical accompaniment normally doesn’t have that, but it’s unique to hear these types of songs with so much passion. It touches on the Steampunk vibe, but is more reminiscent of a Broadway stage in production. The lights and the sound are going to blow you away, and if you don’t dance or get caught up in the emotion I don’t know what planet you’re from.

Tickets are on sale now, but will go fast. Be sure to get there early and check out the opening acts that they bring along. Each is selected to help set the tone for the night. If you feel like dressing up, you won’t be the only one. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday night, and for those of you on a date, this is sure to impress anyone looking for something other than the old dinner-and-movie routine.
