Elena Burnett
Love guru Elena Burnett has released her new book, How To Win a Man’s Heart Vol. 1, explores some of the fairy tale ideas women have about men dating and relating and ways in which to find the right solutions to their ideas. Burnett investigates the male psyche from a man’s perspective.
The book has a fast narrative and simple language that allows anyone to read it through the end, but also serves as a great tale of resiliency and self-improvement. The book also breaks down the most popular fairy tales and how women grow up with misconceived notions of what relationships should be like, and explores how women can better find their way into a man’s heart.
Burnett is a renowned expert on matters of the heart and relationship counselor. She’s also known for tarot and facial analysis. Born in France to Spanish parents, Burnett speaks several languages including English, Spanish, French and Italian. With over 20 years in the field, Burnett has specialized in relationship conflict resolution with a totally holistic approach that do work and has helped both women and men be better in relationships and how to handle its complicated nuances.
In an exclusive interview with Living Out Loud, Burnett discusses her book’s theme, including how women can find their masculine side to better participate in relationships.
“The masculine side of a woman is the controlling side. All humans are androgynous at birth and possess both qualities of both sexes,” she says. “It’s when a woman becomes more competitive and assertive, but not too much. Otherwise, a woman risks both alienating and antagonizing the man, which will only lead to the man wishing to win at everything, because that’s a man’s nature.”
Burnett adds, “The book mainly discusses how to better attract and keep a man. Women don’t usually tend to go the sex route, because we also seek company and nurturing, and we want that to last. But in order to get that man to fall in love with her, a woman must make sure she doesn’t make the typical mistakes that make men not want to stick around.”
Operating under the assumption that men are mostly guided by hormones, Burnett lays out how a woman must assume the role of charmer to win a man’s heart.
“About 80 percent of men are more passionate and 20 percent are more sensible and more creative and can find love through sex. But men generally are more logical and competitive, and it’s then that the woman must remove the man from that animalistic state to a more sensitive and spiritual state. Basing a relationship on sex alone does not work in the long run, especially as you age.”
Regarding relationships that just are not working out and seem to have no resolution, Burnett sure does have advise.
“Every relationship has two variants,” she says. “Every relationship has highs and lows, so you have to learn how to fall back in love with your partner. I speak from experience because I’ve been with my partner for 16 years and we’ve been through that. If you leave a relationship without going through this process, it will not benefit you in any way afterwards. You would literally be taking your issues with you if you just leave. Same thing will happen in your next relationship.”
How To Win a Man’s Heart Vol. 1 is a must read for both men and women because it aims to help both sexes find that balance necessary to fix relationships in danger.
The book is now available in Spanish and can be found at Amazon in digital and paperback format. The English version is slated to release in paperback by March 23 and can also be pre-order in Kindle.
