Latino designers are breaking into the United States’ competitive fashion industry with lines reinforcing their talent and identity. Latino Fashion Week (LFW) is presenting the Red Carpet Premier of “The Journey” tour on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Avalon Hollywood.
Doors open at 6 p.m., the VIP reception will take place 6-7:45 p.m., and the fashion runway show starts at 8 p.m., along with a celebrity performance by Andy Vargas, lead vocalist of Santana, accompanied by renowned bassist Bryant Siono.
Celebrity Emcee, Fernanda Kelly, co-host on the TeleFutura 46 – Univision, number one morning show, LAnzate, will be present as well.
Other celebrities in attendance shall include actress Doris Morgado (“The Internship”), actors Sal Velez, Jr. and Daniel Lujan, and Sasha Zacariaso, Miss Latina 2012.

Established in Chicago, LFW, the premier resource institution for those in the Latino Fashion Industry, is the only full week and tour created to support the talent of local, national and international Latino designers.
LFW represents a milestone for designers looking to break into this industry.
The Los Angeles designers include Cristina Pineda and Ricardo Covalín (Pineda Covalin), Walter Mendez, and Xochitl Medina.
