If you’re still recovering from music festivals and beach trips, make sure you’re well-rested for Sound In Focus, an all-ages summer concert series. Hosted by KCRW and the Annenberg Foundation, the free outdoor concerts are taking place at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City throughout the month of July. The partnership between the two has resulted in a memorable experiences for show-goers, and they first united back in 2012 for summer music events.

Sound In Focus kicks off with R&B star Miguel on July 15. The Grammy-winner known for hits like “All I Want is You” and “Adorn” will make audiences swoon with his soulful voice. Along with Miguel, singer-songwriter Gabriel Garzón-Montano will also be taking the stage as will DJ Stretch Armstrong.

The series continues on July 22 with music legend Paul Oakenfold. Known for his mind-blowing electronic music, Oakenfold will be in great company that night. Mondo Cozmo, who just finished a run of sold-out shows, will be showing the crowd why he’s widely regarded as one of the year’s most promising new artists. Lo Moon, a three-piece band based out of L.A. are also featured on the lineup.

The series will come to an end July 29 with opener Natalia Lofourcade. The Grammy-winning singer will be joined by headliners Rodrigo y Gabriela and their fusion of metal, jazz and world music.

Each show will be hosted by a different KCRW DJ. Specifically, Jose Galván, Jason Bentley and Anthony Valdez.

While the concerts are free, RSVP is required for entry. However, RSVP does not guarantee admission as that will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Line-up begins at 3 p.m., and doors open at 5. Registration is available online.

The Annenberg Space for Photography will remain open until 11 p.m. on these evenings in order to allow audiences to enjoy the concerts and Generation Wealthy, the current exhibition, by Lauren Greenfield.

Join the fun with amazing sounds, food, drinks and overall atmosphere. Visit soundinfocus.kcrw.com to RSVP.
