Head in the Clouds Music & Arts Festival Announced

The 88rising: Head in the Clouds Music & Arts Festival will be taking over the LA History Park on Sept. 22.

Known as a pioneering music and arts collective, 88rising has brought some of the most groundbreaking artist from Asia.

88rising is a company focused on music, media, management and meme-manufacturing while introducing musicians who are breaking barriers and bridging Eastern and Western youth culture.

The arts collective has gained fans all across the world.

The Head in the Clouds Festival is their first-ever group festival across North America this fall.

Label giants including Rich Brian, Joji, Keith Ape, Zion.T, Higher Brothers, Yung Bans, Yung Pinch, KOHH, LAFF TRAX (Toro Y Moi & Nosaj Thing), NIKI, AUGUST 08, Diablo, Don Krez will all be participating in the event along with other special guests.

The tour will be supporting their newly released debut crew LP, Head in the Clouds, that includes 17 collaborating tracks from various artists.

Indonesian rapper Rich Brian, best know for his debut single, “Dat $tick” which was certified gold, will surely have the audience riled up.

Musician Joji has gained success for numerous achievements, one of those is the start of the viral dance craze known as the Harlem Shake.

South Korean rapper, Keith Ape and the Chinese hip-hop group The Higher Brothers will all take the stage during the festival to perform their hits.

“Midsummer Madness,” off the Head in the Clouds album features Joji, Rich Brian, Higher Brothers and AUGUST 08.

Tickets for the festival are currently on sale and while the General Admission Tier 2 passes are sold out, General Admission Tier 3 passes are still available and retail for $69.50 (not including fees).

VIP tickets are available for $129.50 and include access to an exclusive viewing area, exclusive bathrooms and exclusive concessions.

The festival will showcase talents from multiple genres and will introduce audiences to new artists.

The event is open for all ages and doors are set to open at 3 p.m. at the LA Historic State Park.
