Greek Theatre Named Best Small Outdoor Venue at 25th Annual Pollstar Awards

The Greek Theatre was named North America’s Best Small Outdoor Venue for the 14th time, it was announced today.

This marks the 10th consecutive win for the LA venue, exclusively operated by Nederlander Concerts.

Alex Hodges, CEO of Nederlander Concerts, expressed his gratitude for the award.

“Congratulations to The Greek Theatre staff and our Nederlander Family,” said Hodges. “We are proud of this honor and grateful that the industry recognized us. The Nederlander team works hard to ensure quality service for the artists, their fans and the community.”

The Greek Theatre’s 2013 season offered a diverse line-up featuring many sold-out shows and multiple night engagements from a variety of artists. Season highlights included triple-night runs by Barry Manilow and Furthur featuring Bob Weir and Phil Lesh.

Other sold-out performances at the Greek shows by The National, Ana Gabriel, Deftones, Two Door Cinema Club, Sheryl Crow and Gary Allan and the Kings of the Mic tour featuring LL Cool J, DJ Z-Trip, Ice Cube, Public Enemy and De La Soul, among others.

The Nederlander Concerts groups is currently organizing the programming for the 2014 season, which will include Jack Johnson on August 27 and 28.

More shows will be announced in early March.
