Sample sliders and craft ales at Burgers & Beer July 30 at the Coliseum.
No L.A. publication can even compare with the calendar of food festivals put on my L.A. Weekly every year. If you love burgers and beer, then you don’t want to miss their signature Burgers & Beer event scheduled for July 30 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
L.A. Weekly food editor Garrett Snyder and beer guru/writer Sarah Bennet curate Burgers & Beer, where some of the city’s best burger restaurants offer sliders and craft breweries from across the state pour samples of their ales. Culinary participants include Belcampo Meat Co., Hopdoddy, Grill ‘Em All, Plan Check, Slater’s 50/50, the Counter, Unit 120 and Preux & Proper, but keep an eye out for more to be confirmed as the fest approaches. Some of the breweries to be on hand are Venice Duck, Lagunitas, Dry River, Delicious Science, Fireman’s Brew and Scholb Premium Ales.
In addition to all the beer and burgers, Spaceland productions presents live musical performances for your enjoyment. What’s not to love about Burgers & Beer?
