Looking for something to do this weekend? Skip the madness of Coachella while savoring the gorgeous weather Los Angeles has been having at Fiesta Broadway. You’re sure to get in the spirit for Cinco de Mayo and hyped for the summer release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Celebrating its 27th year, the city’s signature Cinco de Mayo event is taking place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Sunday, April 24, at Broadway and 1st in Downtown. Admission is FREE, there is going to be plenty of delicious food and drink available for purchase and it’s super close to the Pershing Square and Civic Center/Grand Park Metro stations, so you don’t have to worry about parking. Musical performances by acts like Villa 5, Hermanas Arteaga, Cristian Felix and Grand Marshal, Pablo Montero, are set to take place starting at 11 a.m.

For lovers of the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Splinter, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo, the coolest part of Fiesta Broadway is going to be a special experience dedicated to the sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, which hits theaters June 3. Visit the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows booth to get your face painted, strike a pose in the interactive photo booth and enter to win prizes that include advance screening tickets.
