Chef Timothy Hollingsworth’s espresso macarons filled with pork belly at L.A. Food & Wine Festival 2014
Summer has started, and the events keep on rolling. But that only means one huge thing is on the lips of every person in Los Angeles with a taste bud: The Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival is coming soon.
Sure, there are a ton of food events to keep you busy, but they pale in comparison to the mega five-city event that closes out the Summer in August. Santa Monica, Downtown, Hollywood and Beverly Hills are just a few of the areas that are hosting the event.
Every major food designer, liquor distributer and chef descends into our home town to show off their goods. The event headquarters are going to be based directly in front of the Walt Disney Concert Hall and bring with them some road closures because of how massive this offering is every year.
Tickets sell out fast, so prepare for tastings, dinners, lunches and seminars of the highest caliber, and leave your belt at the door. This is going to be one of those events where you wear your “relaxed” pants because once you pay the price of admission to the events you select, the food doesn’t stop.
This is the fifth year, and Lexus is sponsoring again. For more information, visit lafw.com, and block off Aug. 27-30 for the taste of your life!
