Frank’s Chop Shop in L.A.
For almost a decade, Frank’s Chop Shop has been a lower East side neighborhood hot spot that has kept both celebrities and locals well groomed.
The NYC shop features vintage barber chairs, classically trained barbers and a cool setting. The atmosphere paired with the perfect cut and expert shave cemented it’s place as the go to spot for the modern gentleman of leisure.
Michael Malbon, the founder of Frank’s Chop Shop decided to open a brand new west coast location on the historic Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
“There are not enough places in the world where a man can just be a man, relax and connect with like-minded individuals while treating themselves to one of the oldest services one can bless themselves with” says Michael Malbon.
He created a multi-purposed space within the 2000 square foot shop. Not only is it a barber shop but it is a functioning art gallery. The walls are adorned with fantastic art that is a feast for the eyes. The modern gentleman can not only get a haircut or shave but also enjoy a unique experience.
“The grooming experience at Frank’s is just that – ‘an ‘experience’ in and of itself, unlike any other in the world. Being able to bring this time-honored tradition back to life in a new and dynamic way is an incredible honor and an essential part of who we are as a brand. Angelenos, you are in for a real treat to say the very least,” Malbon adds.
With a clientele ranging from fortune 500 CEOS to professional athletes to rock stars, Frank’s Chop Shop is certainly be a cut above the rest within the grooming world of L.A..
