On Saturday, May 17th Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the First Annual Bite at the Beach.
The event will feature unique food and craft beer pairings. MB Post, Fishing with Dynamite, Coni’Seafood, Darren’s Restaurant and Paul Martin’s American Grill will be amongst the many restaurants offering their cuisine to craft beer loving guests.
There will be some new local breweries contributing to the hoppy event. Ohana Brewing Company Alosta Brewing Co., The Bruery, Stand Brewing, Dude’s Brewing, Monkish Brewing, and King Harbor Brewery will be just a few of the breweries participating in this first time ever event.
The public can enjoy some great food and tasty beer on the MBS Media Campus. It’s been hot in Los Angeles this whole week so this is a great event to catch an ocean breeze and cool off with a well crafted beer.
Along with the food and beer offerings, Bite at the Beach will have informative sessions hosted by Food Network Star contestant Adam Gertler. Beer connoisseurs like Christina Perozzi of Goose Island will educate guests on the magic of pairing good food with good beer.
Shortly after there will be a second panel discussion dubbed “Fun with Beer,” where top chefs and experts will explain the many ways beer can be used for other purposes such as: washing your hair, or fixing your lawn.
General admission is $100 and it includes food, beer, wine and panel discussion.
VIP tickets are $200 and includes a special hour prior to the event, tastings of Sam Adams Barrel Room Collection and a presentation by Pacific Gravity Home Brew club.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Surfrider Foundation whose mission is to protect the world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network.
