This Friday, January 23, 2015, Avalon is proud to present one of the most talked about up-and-coming progressive house producers, Fehrplay, for a highly anticipated night at CONTROL. Lazy Rich and Eekkoo will be providing supporting sets for what will surely be a night not to miss.

Fehrplay broke on to the scene quickly with his smash production “Meow” in 2010, and has been fiercely climbing the ranks in the international club circuit since then. “Meow” turned heads everywhere from London to Miami, and was followed up by his massive track “Ayita” in 2011. Fehrplay caught the attention of industry heavy-hitters Axwell, Eric Morillo, and Pete Tong early on, and saw his tracks earn international radio time quickly. He was soon signed to Eric Prydz’s label Pryda Family in 2012 and remained at the fore-front of the progressive house scene, innovating his sound and pushing the genre forward. Fehrplay is known for his incredible musicality when it comes to selecting tracks and his ability to weave in and out of multiple genres. His DJ sets are always unique and exciting, showcasing his ability to keep a dance floor moving and to respond to the crowd. Recently, Fehrplay has been pushing the boundaries in his productions, frequently diving in to a deeper, darker and more techno and tech-house inspired sound.

Supporting Fehrplay, Lazy Rich will help warm things up for the night. The UK artist is anything but lazy, and is generally regarded as one of the hardest working producers in the game. With over 140 releases to date, and over 100 of those charting in the Beatport electro house top 100, it’s safe to say Lazy Rich shows no signs of slowing down. His sound is unique, blending funky grooves with crunchy electro noises, and is constantly evolving and progressing. Rich’s record label, Big Fish Recordings, has seen immense success as well, and helped break notable artists like Zedd and Porter Robinson.

Eekkoo is one of the newest artists to sign on to Deadmau5’s prolific label Mau5trap, joining the ranks of Skrillex and Feed Me. The Canadian-based producer has seen success with his most recent release “Hell Is Other People,” his sophomore EP on the label. Eekkoo has been honing his production abilities since a very young age, and graduated from university with a degree in technical production. While his production skills are undeniable, Eekkoo also proves himself a master behind the decks and has an uncanny ear for blending melodies and creating seamless mixes.
