Taiki & Nulight, or to his friends Erka Chinbayer, has been DJing and producing for many years. His energetic live sets span the spectrum of house and garage to more underground bass music. Taiki & Nulight released his first EP in February 2012 on Subway Recordings, which gained support from the likes of Crookers, Disclosure, MistaJam, Herve, Zinc, Redlight, Foamo, Roska, Benga, Skream, Adam F, Hatcha, N Type, and more.
He’s also received major support from BBC Radio 1, 1XTRA, KISS 100, and Rinse FM and has also remixed the likes of Herve, Benga, and Audrey Napoleon to name a few. He currently releases music on Black Butter Records, the multi-award winning independent label that launched Rudimental, John Newman, Clean Bandit, Kidnap Kid, Gorgon City, MNEK, and more.
The night also features local tastemaker Blaise James (OWSLA), a secret dirtybird guest, and favorite resident DJ Bones (Gotta Dance Dirty).
Night Bass is a new event series curated by the king of heavy bass house AC Slater and his Brooklyn-based record label Party Like Us. Night Bass features a diverse array of talent highlighting leaders of the U.K. bass-driven scene and caters to the night owls of the world.
Serving as Los Angeles’ best new underground event, Night Bass brings the sound that’s bubbling out of the bass bins from dark clubs and warehouses the world over direct to local audiences. Expect to hear cutting-edge house, garage, bassline, and boundary-pushing music. Together with Dim Mak, Party Like Us, and AC Slater, Night Bass brings the most unique party to Los Angeles.
