Celebrate Dad Every Day with AKID Brand Shoes

Why celebrate Dad only one day a year? Even though Father’s Day has come and gone this year, showing Dad some love is always in style.

We just discovered a new shoe line named AKID, a recently launched and carefully crafted line of children’s streetwear. AKID is offering this year’s must-have to celebrate Dad any day of the year with a matching father/child footwear package. Being a mom myself I think it’s extremely flattering to have your child want to be just like you. With AKID, Dad can have a little “Mini Me” while wearing these stylish shoes.

Matthew George – founder of the successful Ransom by Adidas footwear line and owner and operator of a handful of retail stores – who, along with his wife Ashleigh Dempster, created AKID’s limited-edition duo of the brand’s new style “The Birdie.” The sneakers are available exclusively online at AKIDBrand.com for a limited time as a father/child matching pair.

“The Birdie” is a unisex design for children in sizes 4-12 and available in sizes 9-12 for men.  The father/child set is $200, or $70 for the children’s style only (for families with more than one child who want to emulate his stylish Dad).

The shoes are constructed of 100-percent full grain lambskin with custom AKID laser-cut sides, an EVA footbed, polyester laces and TPR outsole.  This limited-edition set is available in black only, but the style is also available in four colors for children starting as part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2014 line.

Get yours now, as these are a limited edition package. I’m loving the laser cut on this shoe. It is the perfect sneaker for an everyday look. Little boys can wear dark denim jeans paired with this shoe, and girls can wear this with ultra trendy skater shirts and a nice pair of skinny jeans.
