Following a three night sold-out stand at The Wiltern last fall and an electric KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas performance in December, Arctic Monkeys will return to the City of Angels this summer.

The group will perform at STAPLES Center on August 7 as part of their 2014 U.S. tour. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will join them as special guest.

Tickets to the show will go on sale Friday, April 4th at 10 a.m. They will be available online at www.AXS.com and www.ticketmaster.com as well as by phone at (888) 929-7849.

Earlier this month, Arctic Monkeys scored multiple wins at the UK’s GRAMMY-equivalent BRIT AWARDS, where they took home the two major titles of Best British Band and Album Of The Year. At the fan-voted NME Awards, they won five awards.

Arctic Monkeys continue their global winning streak with a return to the top of the Alternative Charts with AM’s first single “Do I Wanna Know?”. The track is still the #1 most played alternative song in the USA – and has topped the chart for nine weeks – even as second single “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?” impacts at radio.

AM is Arctic Monkeys critically acclaimed fifth album. Released last September on Domino, it earned the band their fifth consecutive UK #1 and, at #6, their highest ever Billboard Album Chart placing.

Arctic Monkeys recently completed a sold out tour of the U.S., which included a performance at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. In addition to their upcoming headlining tour dates, the band will make their first appearance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.
