America’s Family Pet Expo (AFPE) returns to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa from April 25-27.

The 3-day event will feature a wide array of animals on display, including dogs, cats, miniature horses, exotic reptiles and birds. All this is to give the patrons an opportunity to experience these animals up close and personal.

This event is perfect for the whole family, and will have interactive exhibits, educational shows, demonstrations, and the latest pet products for sale.

New this year is the Extreme Canines Dog Stunt Show, which is a high-energy spectacle with dogs performing a variety of stunts including high jump Frisbee, obstacle courses and jump-roping.

The Repticon attraction will offer patrons an opportunity to touch and hold snakes, spiders, lizards, and dozens of other exotic reptiles.

Renowned professional dog trainer Renee Jones will also be on hand to show patrons how to train their pets in both basic and complex commands.

For your feline inclinations, the TICA Cat Show & Presentations will allow you to learn about the many cat breeds and their personalities.

The Great American Petting Zoo will also be present, and offers the opportunity for your little ones to touch, brush and feed a wide array of animals. Other kid-oriented attractions at the expo are Tucker’s Pony Rides, Human Hamster Wheel, and Tickled Face Painting.

For those of you looking to adopt, you’re in luck! Hundreds of animals will be available for adoption from local community partner organizations at the expo.
