Beginning Sunday, July 26, American Airlines customers are going to be able to book travel from Los Angeles to Sydney. The new, nonstop route is set to launch Thursday, Dec. 17, and Australia is the fifth continent in American’s global network expansion.
The flights are going to be operated with the state-of-the-art, three-class Boeing 777-300ER. Travelers can enjoy the aircrafts all-aisle access, fully lie-flat seats and a walk-up bar in the premium cabins.
The aircraft also features Main Cabin Extra seating which provides more legroom. Additionally, all seats feature personal, in-seat entertainment screens with up to 250 films, more than 180 TV programs and 350 audio selections. International Wi-Fi capability, universal AC power outlets and USB ports are also going to be provided.
American Airlines at LAX has served Greater Los Angeles for more than 80 years and has carried over 13.3 million passengers via LAX last year alone.
